True, but exaggerated

Paper result on healthy adults is real. The leap to a must-try treatment for diabetics is not supported.

Why we say that

670 nm red light study records 27.7 percent reduction in healthy subjects. Reel’s mother and speaker results lack any outside source.

The cited paper’s finding holds for normal adults after a glucose challenge. Personal before-and-after numbers, graphs and 70 percent or 37 percent drops are self-reported only. The reel generalises these to diabetics and calls the method a must-try biohack.

Based on only a few sources, so read this as a first look, not the last word.

What it leaves out

The study tested only normal healthy adults after a pure glucose drink, not diabetics after rice and dal.
